Which Program is Right for Me?

There are many similarities between the two courses; however, Family Connections™ – Managing Suicidality & Trauma Recovery is specifically tailored to the needs of parents who have experienced their child’s suicidal behavior, regardless of the diagnosis. On the other hand, the Family Connections™ – BPD/Chronic Emotion Dysregulation course aims to educate on symptoms and treatment approaches for borderline personality disorder.

If you are NOT a parent experiencing trauma or stress-related issues, and your loved one struggles with BPD/Chronic Emotion Dysregulation, we recommend you take Family Connections™ – BPD/Chronic Emotion Dysregulation.

If your child struggles with BPD AND you are experiencing trauma or stress-related issues as a parent due to your child’s suicidal behaviors, we recommend you take Family Connections™ – Managing Suicidality & Trauma Recovery.

If you want to take both classes we recommend taking Family Connections™ – Managing Suicidality & Trauma Recovery with the BPD/Chronic Emotion Dysregulation supplemental ADD-ON.  Another option would be to take an intensive version of one and a weekly version of the other.
